Brooklyn Guide

part 4 - Hotels

Our CEO and Creative Director, Kristina Lindhe, shares her best Brooklyn tips.
LIVING IN BROOKLYN
"Where to live depends, both on what you intend to do and how much you can and want to spend. Hotel prices vary greatly from time to time in NYC, so it is best to check out the current situation. The number of hotels in Brooklyn are a lot fewer than on Manhattan, but the options available are great. Although, if you are more interested in renting an apartment for your stay, Airbnb is always available".
UPSCALE HOTELS
"The most exclusive hotel is the relatively new The William Vale. It's an upscale hotel, right by McCarren Park, and it has an outstanding view of Manhattan. A bit more charming but still upscale, and with a good restaurant on the bottom floor (Reynard) is The Wythe Hotel. By all means do not miss the roof top bar – it’s Williamsburg's coziest bar and has the best view! It’s worth going here to have a drink, even if you’re eating somewhere else later".
BOUTIQUE HOTELS
"The newly opened Williamsburg Hotel has got a remarkable view from the rooms, many with private balconies. It is a boutique hotel, which is often synonymous with an urban and stylish setting. The Williamsburg Hotel definitely fits the description, and has great interior design and architecture. It is also situated close to restaurants, bars and the subway. In Greenpoint, located right next to Williamsburg, Franklin Guesthouse is a fairly new and small boutique hotel. The rooms are designed to give the guests a feeling of home, and is situated close to popular restaurants and shops".
A UNIQUE HOTEL
"If you want a rural experience, even if you live in the city, I can recommend Urban Cowboy B&B. It is a very unique place, decorated in country style, and staying here will be somewhat of an experience. The B&B has few rooms, and a waiting list – so make sure you book in time".
