Kristina Lindhe Mentorship

In preparation for the Kristina Lindhe Mentorship initiative, we met with jury members, Kristina Lindhe, Ida Warg, Mia Brunell Livfors and Noel Abdayem. As we count down to the last application day, we'll be sharing their thoughts on entrepreneurship with you right here.

This time we have Ida Warg, entrepreneur and founder of the brand Ida Warg Beauty. She began her entrepreneurial journey in 2010 as a blogger. Since then, her social channels have grown significantly and today Warg is one of Sweden's biggest influencers. In 2017, Warg chose to take her entrepreneurship to the next level and started her company Ida Warg Beauty. The brand sells hair- and skincare products. In 2021, the company had a revenue of almost SEK 80 million.

How did you get to where you are today?

I started blogging 12 years ago and my social accounts started growing significantly throughout the years. I started getting multiple opportunities because of my huge following, but I’ve never been interested until 2017. I’ve never wanted to do collaborations. I was only interested in starting a company if the brand had my name. I found a partner who shared the same vision, so we went for it.

How important do you find support at the early stage of entrepreneurship to be?

Starting a business requires a lot of money and knowledge so having support is very important.

What is your best advice for a successful career?

Teaming up with people who have the same vision as you and whose abilities complement yours.

What is the most important lesson you have learned during your career?

That nothing is easy and that contracts are important. However, it’s extremely fun to work toward achieving your goal and dream.
