In preparation for the Kristina Lindhe Mentorship initiative, we met with jury members, Kristina Lindhe, Ida Warg, Mia Brunell Livfors and Noel Abdayem. As we count down to the last application day, we'll be sharing their thoughts on entrepreneurship with you right here.

This time we're talking to Noel Abdayem who is the entrepreneur and dentist who founded the company The Humble Co in 2013. The company started selling environmentally friendly toothbrushes that is sold all over the world. Today, the company also offers other environmentally-friendly hygiene and oral care products. For Noel's successful work, he has been praised by Sweden’s King as this year's young pioneer. In 2019, Noel was on the list of the 100 most powerful young people in Sweden. Noel has also co-founded the Humble Smile Foundation, which works to improve children's dental health globally.

How did you get to where you are today?

Hard work, patience and consistency. 

How important do you find support at the early stage of entrepreneurship to be?

Very important. Thankfully, Sweden has a great eco-system which can be of great support at the early stage. Not only from other entrepreneurs but also from the government with supportive websites and courses.

What is your best advice for a successful career?

Work with smart people that share your vision.

What is the most important lesson you have learned during your career?

Always deliver quality service and loyalty to your customers. The rest will come.
