Meet Martina

A house nestled among the majestic trees and lush meadows of upstate New York is our chosen canvas to unveil the Fall ’23 Collection. It’s also where Martina Arfwidson and her family reside. Martina, the visionary behind FACE Stockholm, a renowned cosmetics and skincare brand, calls this haven home. But don’t be deceived by the serene exterior. A vibrant energy pulses within these walls and, it's matched only by the river’s flow.

The house is built in the colonial style, a tradition influenced by the Italian architect Andrea Palladio, which gained popularity in the 18th century in the American South and later in New England. The rooms are spacious, it boasts a gambrel roof and a charming cupola and is flooded with natural light, offering magnificent views. Along one side, there's a built-in porch, and below, on a slope, you'll find a 20-meter-long pool. The property is so vast that neighbors and the road, a couple of hundred meters away, remain unseen. Many would call it a true dream home.

Martina never imagined she'd be running a business with her mom. She was a singer focused on making it Broadway. But when her mother, Gun Nowak, proposed the idea of creating a cosmetic brand that caters to expressive women, she couldn't pass up the opportunity. A smart move if we do say so ourselves.

Today, FACE Stockholm's presence spans over 140 locations across Europe and North America with clients such as Madonna, Annie Lennox and Owen Wilson.

The family-run business is headquartered in Husdon Valley, a place Martina cherishes dearly. “We've always believed in being where we love to be and collaborating with people we hold dear,” she told Hudson Valley Magazine— a statement we can attest to.

Martina and Lexington Company's collaboration spans beyond this campaign. Lexington founder, Kristina Lindhe, and Gun have been long-time friends and collaborators.

"We share the same love for color and quality."

From creating a makeup and towel collection together to creating beautiful campaigns these women have proven that beautiful things happen when women support women.

"I love the overall feel of the collection and have chosen a few pieces that me and my family like and will cherish for a long time."
